R3007 Pro-Series Roller Cabinet

The R3007 puts Gerstner drawer storage on casters. Seven drawers sit in a roller cabinet with two lockable sections, giving larger tools and equipment their own storage below a broad top surface.

Full-extension ball-bearing slides bring the drawers out for access, with a soft-close action as they go back in. Gerstner specifies birch plywood drawer interiors and a capacity of up to 90 pounds per drawer. That is an individual drawer rating, not a stated total cabinet or rolling-load capacity.

The layout combines two smaller drawers with five full-width drawers in two heights. That makes the cabinet useful for pieces that are too bulky for the shallow instrument drawers in a 2610 or 2613 chest. Gerstner states that the top accommodates chests or bases up to 27-1/2 inches wide, allowing a larger stacked arrangement where the available space and supporting surface permit it.

Hardwoods and veneers form the cabinet, with flat-panel fronts and industrial casters. American Cherry comes with brass hardware and brown felt. Golden Oak and Natural Walnut use nickel hardware and green felt. Photographs containing tools show the cabinet in use; those tools are not included.

Plan the cabinet’s position before it arrives

The R3007 measures 29-1/2 inches wide, 37-1/2 inches tall and 21-1/4 inches deep. Leave room to open the drawers and use the top, and check the route from the delivery point into the intended space. Gerstner identifies truck shipment for this model.
